SCHAKSCHUKA
I tried this dish for the first time when I was visiting Israel last December, it`s super easy to cook and you can prepare it at any time of the day. I personally like it with some more exotic spices in it. But if you prefer a more „german“ taste“ you can simply make a regular spicy tomato sauce as a base.
Schakschuka
4 Tomatoes
2 garlic gloves
1 onion
1 cinammon stick
1 pinch coriander
1 pinch cayenne pepper
1 pinch cumin
1 tbsp tomato pure
salt
black pepper
4 eggs
optional : bellpepper
Cut the onion and garlic and stir it with the spices in a large pan till it gets slightly brown. Ad the diced tomatoes and let it cook for about 10 minutes. Make little space in the tomato sauce with a tablespoon to crack the eggs in. Wait till the eggs are cooked and serve it with bread.
